MTK® Pipe Clamps
ASL 085 Heavy Duty Unlined Pipe Clamp With Nut product image

Heavy Duty Unlined Pipe Clamp With Nut is a durable steel clamp with an electro-galvanized (zinc-plated) finish, designed for the secure fastening of heavy-duty pipes such as steel, cast iron, HDPE, and similar materials. Equipped with a standard welded nut, it allows reliable installation with threaded rods and ensures stable connections. Without a rubber lining, it provides an economical and practical solution for applications where vibration and noise insulation are not required, making it ideal for water distribution systems, gas pipelines, HVAC installations, industrial utility piping systems, and general mechanical services. Its robust steel body ensures long service life and high load-bearing strength, while the electro-galvanized (zinc-plated) finish provides excellent corrosion resistance in both indoor and outdoor environments. Fully compatible with standard installation systems, it delivers secure and durable pipe support for demanding industrial and construction projects.

Material and Coating

Body
High-strength cold-rolled steel, selected for its superior load-bearing capacity and long service life in demanding applications. The material ensures dimensional stability and mechanical reliability even under high stress conditions.

Standards
Produced in accordance with EN 10346 and ASTM A653 standards, guaranteeing consistent material quality and compliance with international norms.

Coating
Electro-galvanized (zinc-plated) coating, applied with advanced galvanization process, provides a durable protective layer against rust and surface wear. This finish ensures excellent resistance to moisture, chemicals, and indoor as well as outdoor environments. The coating also improves the product’s long-term durability, reducing maintenance needs and extending service life.

Mechanical Performance
The combination of cold-rolled steel body and electro-galvanized surface delivers a robust structure with high tensile and yield strength, ensuring reliable use in industrial, residential, and commercial piping systems.

Installation and Maintenance

Positioning and Drilling
Mark the clamp points according to project drawings, ensuring correct slope and alignment of the pipeline. Drill holes suitable for the threaded rod or anchor bolt dimensions.

Fixing the Clamp
The welded nut allows direct connection of threaded rods. Secure the clamps firmly to the rods.

Pipe Placement and Clamping
Open the clamp, place the pipe into the clamp body, close the clamp arms, and gradually tighten the bolts to secure the pipe safely.

Tightening and Inspection
Verify that all bolts are evenly tightened with the proper torque. Check the slope and alignment of the pipeline.

Maintenance
Periodically check the tightening torque. In case of loosening or deformation, take immediate corrective action. In environments with corrosion risk, regular inspection and surface cleaning are recommended.

Application Areas

Structural Natural Gas Piping Installations
Suitable for supporting natural gas pipes in building and structural installations, subject to the project specifications, pipe material, design load, spacing requirements, and applicable natural gas installation regulations.

Industrial Mechanical Installations
Used for heavy steel, cast-iron, ductile-iron, and HDPE pipework in factories, production plants, and mechanical rooms where high load capacity and rigid support are required without rubber isolation.

Heating, Cooling and Utility Lines
Suitable for large-diameter hot-water, chilled-water, and process utility pipelines, subject to the project’s load, spacing, and temperature requirements.

Infrastructure and Technical Facilities
Used in tunnels, utility corridors, treatment facilities, and large building-service installations requiring robust, corrosion-protected, and economical pipe support.
