Heavy Duty Unlined Pipe Clamp Without Nut is a durable steel clamp with an electro-galvanized (zinc-plated) finish, designed for the secure fastening of heavy-duty pipes such as steel, cast iron, HDPE, and similar materials. Without a rubber lining, it provides an economical and practical solution for applications where vibration and noise insulation are not required. Supplied as a mounting set, it includes the heavy-duty unlined pipe clamp, 4 M10 hex nuts, 4 M10 flat washers, and 2 M10x40 drop-in anchors. Threaded rods are not included in the set; the installer must select and supply two M10 threaded rods in the required lengths. The clamp is supplied without a welded mounting nut and is suspended between the two threaded rods using the included nuts and washers. The robust steel body ensures high load-bearing capacity and long service life, while the electro-galvanized (zinc-plated) finish provides excellent corrosion resistance for both indoor and outdoor applications. Fully compatible with standard installation systems, it is an ideal solution for water distribution systems, gas pipelines, HVAC installations, industrial utility piping systems, and other heavy-duty mechanical piping applications.

Material and Coating
Body
High-strength cold-rolled steel, selected for its superior load-bearing capacity and long service life in demanding applications. The material ensures dimensional stability and mechanical reliability even under high stress conditions.
Standards
Produced in accordance with EN 10346 and ASTM A653 standards, guaranteeing consistent material quality and compliance with international norms.
Coating
Electro-galvanized (zinc-plated) coating, applied with advanced galvanization process, provides a durable protective layer against rust and surface wear. This finish ensures excellent resistance to moisture, chemicals, and indoor as well as outdoor environments. The coating also improves the product’s long-term durability, reducing maintenance needs and extending service life.
Mechanical Performance
The combination of cold-rolled steel body and electro-galvanized surface delivers a robust structure with high tensile and yield strength, ensuring reliable use in industrial, residential, and commercial piping systems.
Installation and Maintenance
Positioning and Drilling
According to the project drawings, determine the route, levels, and clamp spacing of the pipeline. Mark the two fixing points according to the spacing of the clamp’s side mounting holes. Check the load capacity of the supporting surface, edge distances, and required embedment depth. Drill holes with the correct diameter and depth for the 2 M10x40 drop-in anchors supplied in the set. Clean the holes using the blow–brush–blow method and recheck the alignment and slope.
Installing the Drop-In Anchors and Threaded Rods
Insert the 2 M10x40 drop-in anchors supplied in the set into the cleaned holes and set them correctly using the appropriate setting tool. Threaded rods are not included in the set. Select and cut two installer-supplied M10 threaded rods to the required lengths, screw them securely into the installed anchors, and verify that the rods are parallel, vertical, and correctly spaced.
Mounting the Clamp and Placing the Pipe
Thread one of the included M10 hex nuts and one flat washer onto each rod to form the lower supports. Position the lower clamp half beneath the pipe and the upper clamp half over the pipe. Align the side mounting holes of both clamp halves with the threaded rods, slide the complete clamp assembly onto the rods, and rest it on the lower washers. Confirm that the clamp body supports the pipe evenly without overtightening or damaging the pipe surface.
Height Adjustment and Securing
Place the remaining included flat washer and hex nut above the clamp on each threaded rod. Use the lower nuts to carry the clamp and adjust its height and level. Tighten the upper nuts evenly to lock the clamp in position. Check that the pipe is correctly aligned, that the clamp load is distributed evenly between both rods, and that the nuts, washers, rods, and anchors are securely connected.
Maintenance
At regular intervals, inspect the included nuts, washers, and drop-in anchors together with the installer-supplied threaded rods and the clamp body. Check the tightening torque, height adjustment, alignment, and corrosion condition of all connections. If loosening, deformation, corrosion, or lining damage is detected, tighten or replace the affected component. In outdoor or aggressive environments, perform regular surface cleaning and coating inspections.
Application Areas
Structural Natural Gas Piping Installations
Suitable for supporting natural gas pipes in building and structural installations, subject to the project specifications, pipe material, design load, spacing requirements, and applicable natural gas installation regulations.
Industrial Mechanical Installations
Used for heavy steel, cast-iron, ductile-iron, and HDPE pipework in factories, production plants, and mechanical rooms where high load capacity and rigid support are required without rubber isolation.
Heating, Cooling and Utility Lines
Suitable for large-diameter hot-water, chilled-water, and process utility pipelines, subject to the project’s load, spacing, and temperature requirements.
Infrastructure and Technical Facilities
Used in tunnels, utility corridors, treatment facilities, and large building-service installations requiring robust, corrosion-protected, and economical pipe support.
